A Man for All Seasons:
July–August 2021
For A Man for All Seasons, I helped out with assembling some of the props and costumes. This was a play for a church’s 50th anniversary, and I am gained a lot of experience with the beginning-to-end process of assembling a play behind-the-scenes.
Everything crafted was made almost completely from scratch. Many of the materials used for the costumes were found at the thrift store and re-purposed. This was a low-budget play and was a thrilling challenge to keep it that way.

Created with a wooden dowel, cardboard and craft foam.

Created with a paper mache box lid and model magic-molded fruit.

Created from a Styrofoam core and model magic outer coat. Tissue paper was used to create the cheese encasement.

Costume Design for Duke of Norfolk

This costume was created on a budget. I handmade this costume with materials from a thrift store.

Costume design for Sir Thomas More

For this costume, I created the blue robe using a dress form. The hat was made by another costumer.

I combined the undershirt, vest and doublet into one piece with my own pattern so that the actor would not get too hot and could have quicker costume changes.

I used Photoshop for the design and tea-stained the paper to age the look of it.
